미니루크 step 2 [Addition and Combination]

 

[Addition and Combination]은 원인을 추론해보고, 논리적 & 수학적 사고와 함께 

기억력을 훈련하는 워크북이에요.

순서대로 숫자세기, 숫자 매칭하기, 계산하기 등의 활동으로 구성되어있어요. 

그 중에서도 bear가 등장하여 모자를 써보는 내용의 페이지를 해보았어요.

옷의 명칭을 영어로 익힐 수 있는 영어 동화책 [Mary Wore her Red Dress]를 읽어보았지요.

이 책에서도 pink hat을 쓰고 있는 주인공 곰돌이 소녀 Mary의 모습이 등장하거든요. 

옷의 명칭을 익히는 워크지들도 찾아서 해보았구요. 

옷 그림으로 된 함께 간단한 math 워크지도 해보았어요.

how about this one? It's green.

Now look at the example.

Here is the bear wearing a pink striped shirt and we can see a number '1'

at the top and a yellow cap at the bottom.

If one bear with the pink stripe shirt wears the yellow cap, how does it look?

Let's find a correct answer.

미니루크 step 2 [Figure and Place]  

 

[Figure and Place]는 원인을 추론해보고, 논리적 & 수학적 사고를 훈련하는 워크북이에요.

분석, 숫자 매칭하기, 숫자의 합산, 유추, 계산 등등을 해보도록 구성되어있어요.

앞부분은 빠진 도형이나 그림을 찾는 활동이 난이도를 점점 높여가며 등장합니다.

그리고 마지막 부분에는 주사위에 대한 활동이 나와있는데요.

원영이와 주사위를 가지고 활동해보았어요.

루크 워크북을 하기에 앞서 맥포머스 자석블럭으로 주사위를 만들며 서로 반대쪽의 숫자를 더하면

항상 7이 된다는 사실을 함께 알아보았어요.

본격적인 루크 활동책 활동~ 

양면의 숫자의 합이 7이 된다는 사실에 기초한 활동입니다.

그림을 보고 반대쪽의 숫자가 무엇일지 맞추는 것이지요.

미니루크 step 2 [Bussi Bear 1]  

미니루크에는 'Bussi Bear'와 'Bello'라는 강아지 캐릭터가 등장하는 시리즈 워크북도 있는데요.  

Step 2에는 Bussi Bear 1, 2, 4 총 세 권의 Bussi Bear 워크북이 있답니다. 

원인과 결과, 지각력, 집중력 등을 기를 수 있는 워크북이라고 하네요. 

 

 

그 중 1권으로 활동해보았어요~

책의 내용을 살펴보면 관계없는 물건 찾기, 상황별 그림을 보고 그 상황에 필요한 도구 찾기,  

그림을 보고 다음에 일어날 상황 예측해보기 등등이에요.  

그 중에서도 위 사진은 오른쪽 아래에 있는 직업과 도구에 관계된 내용을 풀어보았습니다.

우선 워밍업을 JFR의 [I am a ?]의 스토리송을 따라 부르며 직업의 이름들을 영어로 짚어보았어요.

[확장활동 - 워크싯 풀어보기] 

 

다양한 직업에 대한 워크싯과 직업과 도구를 연결하는 워크싯을 풀어보며 직업의 이름과 

도구 매칭하는 활동을 더 해보았어요. 

한글로 진행하면 난이도가 쉽게 느껴질 수도 있는 활동인데, 영어로 진행하니 또 다른 느낌으로

받아들이는 듯 했습니다. ^^

루크를 영어로 진행하는 활동을 통해 새로운 영어 단어들도 익혀나갈 수 있을 듯 합니다. 

 

 

미니루크 step 2 [Figure and Space] 

미니루크 워크북 중  '논리적 사고'를 훈련해보는 책입니다. 

그 중에서 대칭의 개념에 대해서 알아보았어요.

집에서 종종 반쪽 그림을 그려 완성해 보는 것을 해보긴 하였지만 symmetry(대칭)

이라는 단어를 알려준 것은  이번이 처음이었네요. ^^ 

워크북을 하기에 앞서서 색종이를 반으로 접어 원하는 모양을 그린 후 대칭의 모양이

나오게 잘라보도록 하였더니 재미있어했어요. 

또한 대칭으로 만든 도형을 다시 반으로 잘라 거울에 대보며 대칭의 모양을 살펴보는 것도

흥미로워했고요.

이번에는 구글을 통해 찾은 여러 가지 워크싯을 풀어보았어요.

도형 그림 위에 자를 대고 선을 그리며 대칭이 되도록 하는 워크지와

우리 주변의 사물중에서 대칭을 이루는 사물을 찾아보는 워크지도 해보았고요.  

대칭을 이루는 반쪽의 도형을 찾는 워크지도 해보았네요. 

위와 같이 워밍업 활동을 한 후에 워크북 활동을 해보았습니다.

If we fold the hexagon along the dotted line, two divided parts face each other.

In this case, we can say "It is symmetrical."

So, we can choose "O" but if not, choose "X" 

Let's see each shapes and choose correct answers.

워크북의 난이도에 대해 살펴보자면 세로나 가로선으로 나눠진 경우 쉽게 풀었지만,  

사선으로 나눠진 경우는 조금 어려워하더라고요. ^^;; 

그래도 곰곰이 생각하며 집중해서 해냈답니다.

원영이가 활동한 페이지는 대칭 개념 중에서도 제일 쉬운 부분이었고요.

페이지가 넘어가면 일상생활에서 볼 수 있는 사물과, 글자들과 블록으로 연결된 도형 등으로  

대칭을 알아보는 페이지가 난이도를 높이며 등장하므로 반복하며 익혀나갈 수 있도록 구성되어있네요.

 

사진에는 없지만 알파벳 letter들도 있었구요. 

특이한 점은 영문판임에도 한글이 등장하는 점이었는데, 세계에서 출판되고 있다고 하니... 

이는 한국 독자를 고려한 것일가요? ^^ 

워크북 활동 후에는 미술활동으로 ‘데칼코마니’도 해보았어요. 

반으로 접었다가 편 종이의 한 쪽 면에만 물감을 짠 후 다시 반으로 접으면

나타나는 우연의 효과~ 그리고 좌우 대칭에 대해 재미있게 살펴볼 수 있는 활동이지요.
